Yvonne Choi is a global marketer and hospitality entrepreneur with over 15+ years’ experience in brand development, technology development, real estate marketing and new media from a number of brand-led companies. More recently, Yvonne served as Chief Brand Officer at Red Lion Hotels Corporation (RLHC). She oversaw the development, branding and marketing of RLHC’s upscale brands.
Before joining RLHC, Yvonne served as Chief Marketing Officer at Cachet Hospitality Group for five years where she launched the company as co-founder from one hotel to over 14 hotels across Asia Pacific, in key markets such as Shanghai, Chengdu, Bangkok, Cabo and New York City.
Under her leadership, Cachet Hotel properties have won numerous awards including 2017 Up-and-Coming Hotelier of the Year, China’s Leading Boutique 2016, Best of Kunming Awards, and have received press coverage by Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bangkok Post, Hotel Magazine, Lodging News and more.
Prior to Cachet, Yvonne served as Marketing Manager at SBE, where she helped expand the SLS Hotels & Residences, Hyde and F&B brands to international markets.
Yvonne started her career at the Corcoran Group NYC in several positions, including Corcoran’s Development and Acquisition Manager where she collaborated with owners, developers, architects such as Della Valle Bernheimer, Jean Nouvel and interior designers to develop luxury residences in Manhattan. She oversaw the build-out, design, branding, and sales & marketing of luxury residential development worth in excess of $500 MM. Yvonne was later employed at a series of start-up companies in San Francisco Bay Area and in Beijing / Shanghai, specializing in start-up ventures and real estate development.
Her education includes double degree in marketing and business management from New York University Stern’s School of Business and a Master’s in Technology from Georgetown University. Choi also completed Executive Education: Global Change Agents Program at Harvard University, John F Kennedy School of Government. Choi was honored as Bisnow Denver's Power Woman and in 2019, awarded with Top 50 Outstanding Asian American in Business by AABDC.
Originally from Hong Kong, Choi speaks English, Mandarin, Shanghainese, Cantonese and conversational French. Classically trained pianist since the age of 4, Ms. Choi is also a marathon runner (LA 2016 & Chicago 2019), triathlon finisher (Boulder 2019) and enjoys competitive sports.
